Toenails
Today was quite the busy day for Lyla and Mommy. We started the day at 6:45 a.m. and played for a few hours. During her first nap I was able to get a workout in and shower. Lyla woke up from her morning nap mad at the world for some reason. I thought it was cute so I snapped a bunch of pictures of her fit. After her little meltdown I got her dressed up in her adorable outfit from Nana, and Grandma Leela, Lyla and I went to Jacqueline's for lunch. After lunch it was back home for a nap. During Lyla's nap my mom's friend Karen came over and brought Lyla an adorable Minnie Mouse doll and dress. Lyla was so cute trying so hard to try and touch it. She is getting really good at trying to reach for objects that are in front of her. After her afternoon nap I made the mistake of tickling her collar bone...Lyla did not think this was funny. She just screamed at me. Again I thought this was funny! Lyla needed her nails trimmed so bad. I am deathly afraid of trimming her nails and it usually is her Auntie Holly's job. So instead of trimming her fingernails what did I do...I painted her toenails. They were kinda messy but they look so cute. After her bottle and plenty of play time I layed her down for her evening nap and made supper. Of course as soon as I sat down to eat Lyla started crying. Dinner time is always her fussy time...convenient for her hungry mother. Grandma Leela was nice and finished her dinner quick so that I could enjoy a meal with my dad. When Lyla gets over tired she falls asleep, stirs, wakes herself up and cries. This went on for about an hour and I am just now sneaking away to blog. Funny how I barely have time to get on the Internet anymore. Oh well Lyla is worth it. People keep telling me that it gets easier. I can't wait. Scottie we love you so much. Lyla loved hearing your voice on the phone today. She smiled from ear to ear, it was too cute! We are so excited to see you in a few days. We love you sweetie pie!
