Today was a long day for us. It started off great...I fed Lyla last night at 11 and she didn't wake up to eat until 5:30 a.m. I actually felt a little refreshed. Well after her morning play time I went down to workout right after I laid her down...well about 3o minutes into my workout Lyla started crying. Luckily my mom was there to rock her back down. Well for some reason after Lyla's second feeding she didn't want to sleep either. I spent more of her nap time rocking her back to sleep than her actually sleeping...what a little stinker! After her 30 minute nap (usually its a good two hours) we went down to the Pharmacy to visit my dad since he didn't get to see her yesterday or this morning. Once I got home it was about nap time again and because she really didn't nap well today, I assumed she would go down and stay down. I was basically able to eat my dinner before she woke up fussing again. So my dad today pretty much consisted of blowout poopy diapers and rocking my baby back to sleep. SCOTT I MISS YOU! Lyla and I wanted to wish you the best of luck in your first game as a Dallas Cowboy. We are so very proud of you and can't believe that you are living your boyhood dream. We are so excited to see what the Lord has in store for our little family. We know that what ever the outcome may be, we will be right there with you enjoying this adventurous ride! We love you and said a special prayer at dinner just for your safety tonight! Good luck and GO COWBOYS!
