Hollypalooza

Lyla met her first Bulman auntie this weekend. My sister Holly flew into town Friday afternoon for a weekend of just aunt time. She left Max and Mar and while it would have been awesome if she would have brought them, it was so nice to have so much sissy time. It also makes it easy knowing that I fly into Indianapolis in 10 days.
The weekend was such a blast. Friday we played with Lyla and once she went down for a nap Hol and I snuck over to the mall to do a little shopping. After a few hours Hol was chomping at the bit to get back to Ly so we left the mall and waited for her to wake up. That evening Gonzo came over and we all hung out and eat monstrous bowls of Blue Bell scream. Saturday we woke up and played with Lyla bean for a while and once she went down for her morning nap Hol and I layed out by the pool for an hour. Again Hol was anxious for her to wake up so we headed home, showered up and had Auntie/Niece time. Hol and I spent the rest of the day/night watching movies. Did I mention Hol gave Lyla her first real manicure...it was badly needed! It was so much fun to just relax and bond with my sissy over being mommies. Lyla and Holly were so precious. Lyla just adored Holly! She gooed and smiled anytime Holly would chat with her. I am sure Lyla can sense that Hol is so much like her mommy. Sunday we woke up, played with the baby and went to church. After church Hol and I grabbed lunch and went to Target. Once we got back we just relaxed until Hol had to fly out later Sunday evening.
This weekend was so special to me. Holly and I have bonded so much this past year over pregnancy and baby stuff. It was so much fun to see Hol on the other side of things. Lyla is her first niece on the Bulman side and it was so fun watching her be an Auntie to Lyla. Thank you so much Hol for leaving your perfect little babies to spend a long weekend with us down here in Texas. I will cherish this weekend and feel so blessed to have such an amazing sister who loves her family so much. Brooke and Ape...not leaving you two out...I love you just as much :) Can't wait to see everyone in 10 days...how am I going to sleep at night??
