Girls Night Out

Thursday night Scott and Gonzo babysit while I went out on a "Girls Night Out". I met up with a bunch of girls at a nice Mexican restaurant called Mi Cocina. The food was marvelous and it was so much fun going out without any kiddies. After dinner my sister in law Christe and I went to Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and loaded up on yummy snacks. I got chocolate covered gummy bears. I know they sound disgusting but Aunt Tammy introduced them to me out in Huntington Beach and they are delicious. She also introduced me to a an apple pie apple. They apple is dipped in white chocolate, sugar and cinnamon and some other yummy things that I'm not quite sure of so of course I had to get one of those too. We then headed over to Sunshine Glaze to paint pottery. I got about 15 minutes into my project when my phone rang. It was Scott informing me that Lyla wouldn't take her bottle. This was a bummer because I had to cut girls night short to go home and nurse Lyla. Poor baby, when I walked in the door she just looked whipped from crying so hard. After I nursed her she conked right out and I spent the rest of the night visiting with Gonzo and Scott. I feel so lucky that I have a hubby who encourages me going out and getting out of the house. Thanks Scottie for babysitting!
