What a fun day for Lyla and Mommy. The morning started off at 5:30 a.m. when Lyla woke up to eat. I decided this was way too early to start my day so after she ate I put her back down. Well an hour later she was still talking in her crib. I picked her up and brought her in bed with me. Once she was asleep in her arms I put her in her swing and went back to sleep. Well I woke up at 9:15 and she was still asleep and I for the first time in a while felt rested. Finally a little before eleven she woke up. Once we ate breakfast and got dressed we headed out to meet cousins Creighton, Carson and Aunt Christe at the park. Lyla screamed for the first 5 minutes in the car but fell asleep the rest of the way. Once we got to the park we layed out a blanked and hung out. It was nice to see our friend Christian and her little boy Rhett there too. Lyla loves her cousins and they love her too so much. Creighton loves on her all the time and most of the time Carson is mad that his mommy is holding another baby. After about an hour of playing at the park we packed up and headed home. It was nice to get out and enjoy the cooler Texas weather (by cool I mean 89 degrees). Daddy leaves tomorrow for his last pre-season game against the Vikings. Good luck Scottie, score us a touchdown!
