My first official Mother's Day!! I guess we did celebrate it last year even though Lyla waited a few weeks to grace us with her presence. What can I say...my day was amazing! Scott was so unbelievable all day, letting me sleep in, feeding Lyla all of her meals and bottles, changing all the diapers. What a relaxing day it was for me, probably not so much for Scott. Lyla was a sweetie and picked out a few kid-friendly dvd's for me and Scott spoiled me with a new Coach purse. We went to church in the morning and out to lunch at On the Boarder, both of our favorites. The rest of the day was spent relaxing as a family, enjoying being a mommy and being treated like royalty by my husband. I guess I have a lot to live up to once Fathers Day rolls around. Thank you Scottie for being so good to me and for treating me like a princess all day long. I love you!
Happy Mothers day to my Mama, a woman I aspire to be like each and every day. You have taught me so much throughout my 27 years of life and so much since Lyla was born. Thank you for being there for me every step of the way with Lyla, staying up with my basically all night through the contractions, being there for me during my labor, answering all my questions these past 11 months on what to do about this and that. You have been such an amazing Mommy to me and an even more amazing Grandma to Lyla. We both feel so blessed to have you in our lives. Thank you for not giving up on me and always being there for me. I love you Mom!
