Lyla in the City

We had the amazing opportunity yesterday to take a trip into New York City. Ever since we got here I have been itching to get in but figured it would be a while before we got to take it all in. Well Scott's teammate Kevin and his wife Bre were so awesome and invited us to go with them. I really can't explain how amazing the entire day was. Without sounding cliche I felt like I was dreaming. It was so crazy being able to see so many amazing places...
*The Brooklyn Bridge
*Time Square
*Ground Zero
*Chinatown
*Greenwich Village
*Rockefeller Center
I could go on and on. So many times we have days where after the day is over we look back and think wow that was a great day...well the entire day I just kept thinking this is so awesome, so amazing...I couldn't get enough. Thanks to the Boss's for taking us around town. We appreciated it so much! And praise the Lord that Lyla was the most well behaved child ever. She completely missed her afternoon nap but was such a trooper and hung with us all day. So excited for family and friends to come and visit so that I have an excuse to go to Canal street and buy some knock off purses! This day will definitely go down as one of the neatest experiences I have ever had.

Wisconsin Dells

Before we moved out to Jersey we spent an amazing weekend in Wisconsin with the entire family. Now this happens barely once a year maybe so the Bulmans were really looking forward to this family get together. We had an amazing weekend spending time with each other, eating yummy good, and of course playing in the indoor water park for hours and hours. I spent a lot of time in the kiddy section with Lyla but I did get a few chances to do some of the adult slides. One I don't even want to blog about because I thought I was going to die. There were a few other slides that got my adrenaline going pretty bad but were all in all a great time. Thanks Mom and Dad for the amazing weekend, being so accommodating with all of us, and for giving us the opportunity to all get together. I think this needs to become a Bulman tradition.

My Nana Rocks!

Thanks Nana for our adorable onesie. I tried snapping some pictures of Lyla in it but it was during Lyla and Daddy play time, and she never sits still obviously!
