Scottish Rite Hosptial

One of my favorite parts of Scott's job is all the opportunity I have had to help out in the different communities we have lived in. Our first year in San Diego was amazing because we had so many chances to do charity work. I am now getting more involved here in Dallas with the Dallas Cowboys Women's Association. Yesterday we went to Scottish Rite hospital in Dallas and made fleece blankets for some of the patients there. The hospital was amazing...full of adorable children and bright fun colors. The great thing about the hospital is that anyone can go there, even if you don't have insurance. Working with children is so good for the soul. I spent a lot of time with a twelve year old girl named G.G. She only spoke Arabic so I tried to communicate with her by coloring. I also fell in love with a two year old girl named Aaliyah who was born with her hips out of place. She was there because they broke one of her hips and re-aligned them. She was precious! Spending the day with sick kids made me feel so blessed that Lyla is a healthy little girl. Enjoy the pictures!
